Got on my first carshow dash plaque

On yesterdays car show got a nice surprise
I was on the dash plaque for the show

been too darned hot here in texas to do any car shows.. 79 days at 100 or more.. highest at 112..

Are you bragging, Sam? At my house, this is the first summer in recorded history we have not hit 100F. (Although we did finally make it to 99 a couple weeks ago) I think you mid-westerners are just plain hogging all the heat.

Congrats on the dash plaque honor, Joe. That's really cool!

Trophys?

Good job. How about this one, few years back me and her take two cars
which I have had since almost new. No chance of her getting this trophy.
Im in a loaded 59 MK town car yea an igloo with its two ACs her in a
58 turnpike cruiser windows down also around 100* They must have
looked at my as a poor rich old man. She got the trophy.

Congratulations, that is quite a big deal and not many of us get to feel what it's like. Hold on to as many of those as you can get your hands on. I have been collecting these things since 1972 and when I get them out now they are full of great memories. Funny how guiys can mark time in their life by what hot rod they owned and where they went with it
