Noise while downshifting

Hey guys, I need some advice. I have a 2007 F150 FX4 Supercrew, automatic trans. loaded in what seems to be great/excellent condition. Very occassionaly, when as I am slowing down at inside-city driving speeds, I hear a sort of buzzing sound that ends in a clunk. What could this be or what is it likely?

Fortunately, I still have the dealership warranty as well as an extended plan I purchased with the vehicle. Hopefully, those will cover anything too ugly. Anyway, thanks for your help and your time.

I know on ecertain trucks, Ford will grease the splines on the front of the driveshaft where it goes into the rear of the transfer case. It takes up normal slack in the splines. Worth a shot.
