Orange Tricoat/Interior Questions

I notice a lot of guys getting the orange, which is an awesome color and looks good, but its $500 more. Is it extra scratch/scuff proof?

Also, I love the orange interior accents, except for the center console. Any chance you can have the factory center console installed but still get all the other orange trim and leather?

Thanks

Whether it is worth the extra $500 is a matter of opinion. The orange and all other Raptor colors are the same type of paint Ford uses on everything else.

Not unless you did it yourself. The orange accent interior is only available with black or orange.

Well on the website its labeled as "Orange Tricoat" so I didn't know if that meant some kinda gelcoat or extra coating to resist scratches and scuffs.

It's likely a different finish, like metallic or pearlescent or something. Metallic paints cost extra.

It is a 3 coat paint. yellow primer, red base coat, orange metal flake and a clear coat. It has been replaced in the 2012 model year by race red.
