about 10-12 just driving around town. I have a custom tune from 5-Star but it really depends on how I drive. If I roll with the flow of traffic I get close to 12. If I leap frog the slower traffic then it goes down. If I rabbit from stops that too eats into my milage. Your rear end ratio is going to play into that too.

My v10 is my only vehicle. I'm an electrical contractor and I use it from job to job and around town. My combined mpg goes between 10.5 to 11.5 usually. Sometimes higher, occasionally lower. I've kept logs of my fillups and mpgs for 61 tankfulls so far, and the combined average with one trip to Minneapolis, one trip towing a boat to the lake, and a few tanks of sub 10 mpg before I cleaned my MAF sensor along with a lockout while running for about three hours comes to 10.85 mpg. My worst was 8.38 towing a boat through the ozark hills, my best was 15.62, a total freak tank. I have more than a few high twelve/low 13 tanks though.
I have 285/75/r16 tires 3.73 gears, and I'm running the 87 perf tune from mike at 5 star and I have the SPD y pipe. Other than the tuner, y pipe and larger tires, all is stock.

Thanks for the info guys I am looking at a crew cab short or long bed and was leaning towards the 7.3 psd but I think I am going to get the v10 and put my money into fuel instead of fuel and all the maintanance that comes with the diesel.I worked out the fuel cost differences and the diesel would only save me about 150 bucks a month but cost more for maintanance.

Also a FYI I have been told my a couple dudes with LB's that since it's long and light to get a nice smooth ride u need to air bag the back which if your gonna tow will be useful anyway. You gotta post pics when u get it though

I just picked up a 2005, CC, FX4, SB, V10, 4.10LS with 17,389 miles and my city MPG is 8-9 MPG. The best i got on the highway was 14 mpg on a 220 mile round trip.
