When some one wants to know my MPGs I tell them my truck gets GPM (gallons per mile) but really CC SB 4X4 285 tires and 3.73 gears consistantly 11 in town and my best highway was a long run up into Colorado and I got 14.5 in mine my brother in law has the same truck except a long bed and he gets the same.

 

The truck listed below scales at 7,700lbs with just me. I drive a lot of highway, and still average about 10.5mpg every tank. So my guess is I'm getting 8-9mpg city.

In city ~9-10 but factoring in some freeway driving across town twice a day. Towing ~7,800 TT on highway running about 8.5mpg. Best I've got is 13.6 highway (not towing of course).

Aside from a K&N I haven't done anything after market yet. Looking at a FlowMaster to allow more airflow, thus little more power and hopefully improved economy. A friend of mine put a FlowMaster on his and got an additional 2.5 to 3mpg improvement on the highway.

 

8-10 mpg in town/short trips.
