Since I hauled my cripple truck to the engine rebuilder folks today, I made these.

These allow me to run over the fenders with confidence and I can easily pull them out when not needed.

Then I made a place for my winch to go.

I still need to weld a cap on the 3x3 square tubing and paint for cosmetic purposes, but all in all it works great.

Gotta love the threads that originate on this site! Click on pics to enlarge.

First is the trusty 460 primer: Tool box stable...

Then for Ford Y block: So you don't end up with this:

Very hard to remove a dist with the casting broken.... An external oil pump helped!

heres a case speader I made today. Worked really well. Had too much backlash but case was tight so I used this to spread it, and added a small shim to put gear closer to pinion leaving me with good bearing preload, .012 backlash and a good pattern. All for the cost of w/e i hoarded out of my shop.

Now off with the setup bearings and time to press on some freshies and wrap this up.

Thought this one needed a video to really explain it. This may fit in better in the fail thread I don't know.

The table i got you dont just pick up by your self .....

6x6's for legs its banded with 2x10's and its got 2x6's for the top.... needless to say you could put 3 or 4 460's on it (thats the size of it) and prolly stack them and never 'flinch' it as he said...
