You must have been giddy when Irene went up that way then followed by Lee.

 

irene was pitaful... and lee missed us completely... never got a thing from it...

 

I've always liked a good thunder/lightning storm.

I have a good one going on now Chris..

 

thats cuz it strengthened before it hit them... as it got close to us it weakened down close to the point of being just a TS... then after it passed me it went back to a strong full CAT 1

ive slept through a cat 3 before... anything less is nothing to me now...

 

Didn't you get a lot of rain??

 

We don't get many big storms here. Have seen many just blow on by.

 

10 inches... but no lightning or thunder... and the winds were only between 50-60 mph for the gusts... where they "predicted" 80-90... and we where w/in the central cone where they said the strongest winds were supposed to be... but was a pansy when it got near me...the eye was only 15 miles from me from what they said...

 

We got some of Lee but nothing from Irene..

 

lee missed me completely...

 

Lee was a nice rain. So I didn't have to worry about getting flooded. Even though it rained for a few days.
