I did mapquest for Ely to Walker. It's about 175 miles just like for me. That's a long ways to go for a "quick" visit.

I did the same Jay, Google had the shortest route at 168 miles, but it's almost an hour alone just to get to Virginia and that trip is all a slow, winding, 55mph. It'd be over 3 hours for me.

It'd be a heck of a trip for a visit, but honestly I would come if I had gas in the truck, I'd come for one of the days at least. Not like I'll be doing much this weekend other than a bit of hiking, and a bunch of homework.

 

The hiking part sounds good. The homework not so much.
