Completely forgot. We were busy spending some really good time with the kids and the dog. Tomorrow is the day. I also have an endoscopy in the morning. Tomorrow is going to be interesting day. Endoscopy in the morning with some really good drugs. Then, the dog stuff in the afternoon. That ought to take care of the drugs.

They say you're not supposed to make any big decisions for 24 hours after the procedure. Good thing we made the decision already or Katie might accuse me of some trickery.
Hi Michael.

Good luck with all you have going tomorrow.

Hey Mike! We plan to leave when Beth gets off work at noon.
Hi Troy! Sounds good. We'll see you there.
Beer is on ice, should be nice and cold tomorrow afternoon.

Then again ... simple things on vehicles for me turn into huge messes and pains in the rearend.
Yeah, the 4R100 should physically bolt up, like you have found, there are some sensor differences. If you need, when the time comes, I'm game for helping swap the trans out.

Here is one thread I found. I haven't found a detailed step by step, but this is as close as I've come. Basically, the 4R100 is a beefed up E4OD with a couple other minor changes because of SD vs. OBS.

Yeah, it is kind of a crock. I have no ash either, just oak and some birch. Buy 2 bundles and have a fire all weekend

And the E4OD is basically a C6 with electronics and a 4th gear.

Thanks for all the offers for help. When the time comes I'll let you know. I finally paid of the IRS from 2009/2010. Now I have to pay of State of MN. Basically, we got hosed on our taxes alot because Katie was considered self employed when she was employed by the church. Most of her expenses were reimbursed by the church, so we had the self employment taxes, but not much for expenses to deduct from it.

After the State of MN is paid off and Katie gets new glasses (roughly $400-$500), I think she'll be open to talking about fixing the truck. Until then it sits in the driveway looking sad.

Bummer on all the tax stuff. I can sympathize. we were screwed over one year also and had to figure out how to get it paid back. Not fun.

Good luck hitting the hay Troy! I wish I were tonight but I know that isn't happening. So I am drinking instead...

It sucks but it felt great to be able to pay it finally. Between Fed and State, I could have bought a nice OBS or a cheap SD. Better to pay Uncle Sam. The fed gets their money one way or another.

I'll probably end up with a rebuilt aftermarket. E4OD has to be a 94.5 - 97 4x4. 4x2 isn't worth the work from what I read. IDI E4OD is electronically incompatible with my PCM. Did a quick search for 4r100 and came up with nada. Junkyards want almost $1000 for a used E4OD. For that much, I may as well have mine rebuilt or buy a better aftermarket.

Vikes looked decent tonight. I hope they can keep ramping things up next week when they have their first real game.

Nah ... they don't do that until game 4 or 5 in the regular season. Then they just instantly implode.
