fuel pumps
hi i have 1984 ford f250 4x4 4 wheel drive
i had the front tank pump replaced the truck ran
for a day then on my way home it seems it was running
out of gas,
i have a clear fuel filter by the carb it gets gas then
it stops
i have reset the fuel pump reset button
and it stills does it
any i deas
allso im on uneployment and can
i use my electric pump Holly
from my race car
its 7 to 14 pounds of presure
i do have a oil presure shut off switch

You must have a 460 equipped truck. You need to check the oil pressure switch and the fuel pump relay. If you are considering running and wiring up a aftermarket pump, why not just hot wire the factory pump with a switch? You would be accomplishing the same thing.
