Well, I hate to end the month on an ugly note, but I'm gonna.

Got my walkin' papers at work yesterday. Technically, I got "laid off" not "fired", but that doesn't make a whole lot of difference in the old paycheck department. We're OK for the moment, but things might get scary real quick...

I've still got job B, and will probably be werkin' a lot more there.

 

Dan, I had a Miss Piggy from Kadey's or however that's spelled. Best tenderloin sammich I've ever had.

Terry, I won't go into cliche's about doors and stuff. You'll find something better.

 

Alan, Foose is going to be there this weekend.

 

What? You didn't have BBQ? I haven't been there but I've been reading reviews. The wife & I'll have to try Khede's out next month when we're on vacation.

Sure. Lots of chances. Updated my resume this morning, and have sent it out maybe six times. I'm sure I'll find something...

For the moment, I'm going to pull the ad and hang on to it. We may be very glad it didn't sell in the very near future...

Little Girl Walking Home From School

A man pulled up next to a little girl walking home from school and said "If you get in, I'll give you a lollypop." The girl kept walking.

Following along slowly, the man said "Come on and get in the car with me and I'll give you two lolly pops." She kept her eyes on the sidewalk and continued on her way.

The man said "Get in with me and I'll give you this whole bag of lollypops!" Finally, the girl turned and said "Look daddy, YOU bought the Ford, YOU ride in it!!!"

 

Yo Unk Bob we are all making the best of the last day of the week, or getting ready for the weekend. Besides oct is really tomorrow, other than that how are you doing?

And cool the RC and the bus stopped by, along with those Wagner shoes for that mileage.
