painting plastic light bezel and grill

painting plastic light bezel and grill

hi all new to the painting world and going to be painting my 85 f250, the guy i got it off of painted the light bezels and grill and the paint is sticking on good no flaking or chips. My question is can i just take a wool pad or scotch brite pad and ruff them alittle oy do i actually have to sand them down?

And another thiing how any people have wet sanded single stage paint and buffed would like to no experiences
