My '69 is getting the stainless exhaust finished up, the custom coolers are almost done, and the fuel line is going in. Wiring next.

Isn't it great when you can take something apart and put it back together and learn something from it.

Not so much On the Truck as FOR the truck

So I have been following Fitzee's Fabrications on You Tube and have been inspired to have a stab at doing my own patch panels. As part of that process I am building as many of the required tools as possible. To that end a couple of days ago I built a buck for making smooth curves out of a piece of 2.5" exhaust pipe and a second piece of 1'5" Pipe. When I locate a piece of 1" pipe I will add that to it as well. Then today I built most of a sheet metal brake for accurately making sharp bends.

If you have not seen Fitzee's Fabrications it is worth having a look He is a 30 year body shop technician who is now retired and spends his time doing restoration and body repair projects using only hand tools that your typical Gear head would have in his shop. On top of that he is in Newfoundland so his accent and colloquial use of the English language make him interesting to watch.
