I have a 1986 460 carburated motor home... when I am driving it, it will just shut off and then a few seconds later a big bang comes out the tail pipe. I can start it back up and keep going then it might do it again a few miles down the road. last time I drove it the motor shut off 8 times in 200 miles. Hope someone knows something about this?

 

The ignition switch is worn out?
Could be a bad DuraSpark Module. But I don't see it returning so quickly.
