Leather seat repair /replace?

Hello all, I was wondering if anyone can point me a direction to repair or replace the driver side seat bottom on my expedition. After 85k of driving the seat edge has become worn, faded and started to separate. Any help would be appreciated.

I would go to a few different upholstery shops. When I went they said it would be around $250+. Needs new foam, and the OEM seat bottom is like $180.

Not if you have the Heated/AC seats. Try about $350 even from Tasca, list is about $526

I would look into seeing if an upholstry shop could just repair the part thats damaged.

Yowza. Yeah, I don't want to even pay $150 for a 4" x 12" piece of leather. Too much.

Fortunately my brother in law is a district rep for a large body shop chain so I got a deeper than normal discount. The seat bottom foam was about $130. If i recall correctly, the leather was about $360. I have heated and cooled seats. I will say that the seat foam had totally degraded and clogged the mesh so air couldnt get through. Once I did it, the difference was amazing.
