We were coming home on a trip and the wife started egging me on to race her. At the time I was in my stock tune to save a little on gas. Finally gave in and couldn't resist. Her car did pretty good but I was able to pull away a little at about 80. Then at the rest area I told her I was in my stock tune and changed it to the 100hp setting so she shouldn't try to race me again. Well she did and got smoked and an innocent prious or similar got some to. Funny thing is I think that car may of reported us to the county police. There were two sherrifs at the county line with their lights on. A minute later they passed us with their lights off. Fortunately, my Wife learned her lesson and no longer trying to race and we were going the speed limit as it's a bad area for getting pulled over. Knowing my wife she will be trading in her car for something faster. If she does that looks like I will have to upgrade to a bigger turbo and injectors.

 

Hahaha, thats funny. Next up: Taurus SHO.

We had a good time just playing around a bit. Don't think we put anybody in danger as there was only one car around. I was kidding with the Wife when we got home and told her it reminded of the movie Smoky and the Bandit when the cops were waiting for him at the state line.

To Chris's post I don't think she will go for another 7.3. She is interested in a newer durango or lexus.. Just curious if your wife lets you beat her and that is the reason you have not chipped it yet? Just kidding Chris I know where you are coming from.

The Taurus SHO is an amazing sleeper car!! I'm excited for the Explorer SHO

 

But front drive? Why not call it the windstar SHO that's more accurate

The guy that works for me has an older SHO and definately a sleeper.
One thing - his alternator is going out and they are VERY EXPENSIVE for his particular model, the 3.0 with stick shift.
