The mods allowed me to change my name! Sorry for the confusion.
Yesterday, I was sitting here with too much time on my hands and I started thinking about how I HATED the username (Mountaindoc) I quickly chose last summer when I joined. So I sent Fomoko1 a PM and just simply asked could I change my name to just simply "Doc" since most of you call me that anyway. Well, when it was all said and done, they must have decided that was okay. So, I'm still the same ole Shane from KY. But now my name is just simply Doc. I went back and looked. It apparently changed all my old posts, etc. So sorry for the confusion. Hopefully you guys will recognize the avatar and realize it's me.
I had heard that they were removing all the mountains in that area looking for coal - Didn't realize that they were stripping peoples names.
That's about the truth. It's pretty bad. Don't get me started. Coal raised me and, as I type this, my brother and my dad are in an underground coal mine. But I was driving by one of those sites the other day with my dad (who's been a deep mine manager my whole life). He looked up at it and said "I could deep mine that whole thing in about 3 weeks and leave that mountain where it is." I get upset when "coal" in general as an industry gets tied to "mountaintop removal" like they are inseparable.
Hi, Doc.
Let me be the first to say Welcome to FTE, A great bunch of people here and glad ta have you around!
now post up some pictures of your truck for us to gawk at!!!
Glad to see that the name change went well...I know that "raerjim" was also lamenting the fact that he had goofed when he entered his user name. I believe that he was looking for "racerjim" and missed the "c" key.

And all this time I thought he was trying to be fancy and spell "rearjim".
