My tire has a hemorrhoid

Any suggestions on how to fix this? The tire is just out of warranty and its a discontinued model so it has to be fixed or I am screwed.

From past experience, that will almost get you to where you need to go.

Sorry, no way to fix that. If it's discontinued, I'm guessing you get 2 new tires now (unless you want used tires)

You will need to replace it. That is not safe and not repairable. How much tread depth is on that tire and its three brothers?

I am sure they have less that 1000 miles on them. The back tires are like new as far as thread depth but the fronts wore fast. Sure I can get a lot more use out of them. I only but a few thousand on it a year.

Yep, bad idea jeans to keep driving on that. If money is tight, you can get a decent used name brand tire for around 50 bucks. Good luck

No matter what, you've got to at least replace that one tire.

What I'm trying to say is that the integrity of the tire is compromised.

not sure what brand you have there but I would go back to the place you got it and see what they will do about it. If they say too bad I would be jumping up and down and dropping ancronyms like BBB. May be they will do something to help out at the least.

Bump:

Well what is the outcome of your delema?
If you had bought from a reputable tire mfg. and dealer, you could strongly suggest they replace all 4 tires! Maybe they would be kind enough to give you a big fat discount too. I had a situation like that on a Jimmy 4x4, one left front blew out on hiway ( could have been a very serious problem) they tried to sell me one tire, but after that experience I really didn't want the same tires as they might be defective too. Anyways they agreed to replace all 4 tire with a different brand for around a hundred bucks, needless to say we were very pleased. That was costco though, and also several years ago before China got involved.

Parnelli Jones dirt grips. Got them from national tire and wheel. I called and they said they are out of warrenty. When I complained they gave me the manergers number. I left him a message and he never got back to me. Going to give it a try again. Just been real busy trying to save the house lately.
