Where should I buy paint? Paint Codes?
There are a lot of paint places online and then there is the local NAPA Auto Parts. I’m not doing a full restoration, just a “Good Enough” job to keep the truck in respectable and useable condition.
How many gallons should I purchase and at what cost? Any brand I should look for or avoid? I’ve thought about taking the easy way out and getting a MACCO paint job, They did good work on my SUV.
Any suggestions?

Napa sells re-branded Sherwin Williams Auto paint, it is a very good product for a daily driver. i would ask for a single stage Acrylic Enamel, if your doing a 2 tone job, one gallon of each color will be enough. i would buy your paint locally, dont order it on line.
2 gallons with hardner and reducer should run about 250-300 bucks
i would spend the money for a good primer/sealer to lay down first, especially if your truck has primer spots and different colors on it.
