Another ejected drink trying again
I looke previousky and couldnt find a solution. My '10 xl option package left me with only the teo shallow drink holders in the fold down armrest in the bench seat. I have the upfiter switches which i believe is where the cupholders normaly would be. I have two blank panels on dash; lower right (where aux input would be, and middle left above ciggarete lighter which i think is the one where the tbc would go.
I woukd mount it one the hump on the floor but there is a gearshifter there!
Im to the point i dont care and will drill on the dash but all i see online are really cheap holders made for atv/golf carts.
Any ideas on retrofiting an oem holders or an aftermarket solution. Parts numbers?
Also can the map door pockets be added on my truck doesnt have them either

I have TBC, upfitters, and the cup holders, but I have ESOF. I would think if you ordered a cup holder for an XLT equipped like mine it would fit, but may have interference issues at times.

That is the issue. The manual 4x4 shifter is in the way of the cup holder.

Ihave hAve two sticks the 4x4 and transmission which precludes mounting anything low as the shifters need alot of space down there. If i can find someithng decent quality that i could just screwinto the dash i will.

How about one of those consoles that sits on the bench seat? I know you have the flip down console but you could leave it up and then use the console that goes on the seat.

how about removing the middle seat and dropping in a used center console or just and aftermarket one.....i know you can find them on ebay or junk yard

Hey Anomic, at least you have manual everything. I wanted a truck like that, but when you buy in the used market you have to get what's out there and there are very few XL-all manual trucks. I did a search for 08-10 (I like that body style) XL 4x4 all manual and only found 4 in the entire nation. No cup holders wouldn't be much of an issue for me, but I can see how the console ejecting them would be a problem. I think if you got a hold of some door panels from an XLT, you could remove the map pockets (on my 02 they are just kind of glued/melted onto the door panel using tabs and holes) and connect them to your non-power door panels with a little work. I would also say that unless you need that middle seat, swap in a center console. TreySpooner ordered the 08-up console and installed it in his 02 replacing the center seat.

Ya i found mine over 500miles away. Only option i really wnted was the 4.10s but the truck was almost exactly what i wanted. I wasnt ready to buy but the 11s new motors, no manual trans, higher price tag, and i didnt like the looks as much. It was hard to find a leftover 10 but the rebates where awesome and like i said other than color and the 4.10 option it was exactly as i wanted

I am not sure why your trucks don't have the in dash cup holders..
My 06 with manual tranny and 4x4 does.. Doesn't even come close to hitting
I also have 2 on the center console..
Maybe you need to find a dash out of an 06

I have manual hubs and transfer case and in dash cup holders plus the console cup holders, so I do not think ESOF is the difference.
