not a real good plan... put his tires on your old rims... sell his rims and buy a newer set of 5 bolt.

idk was thinking about it but then i heard about how to change front end and i could do it then i heard that the rear end would be a whole different story ppl were saying to look for a 6 lug axle shaft but ive been looking all night and i have found one for a ford then someone said you have to replace the whole rear end that really pissed me off cause ok i have 17" stock ford rims with bald tires my friends giving 20"rims brand new with mickey thompson tires on them and i really wanna use those new wheels when they get here and then i heard even if i was gonna go with the adaptors that they are a big hassle cause they wear down your bearings and sometimes come lose and **** just alot of crap just if anyone knows more about what i should do tell me please i need to pass inspection in November.

Thank you ALL

ford never made a 6 lug shaft for teh half ton pickups.

The 6 lug rims your thinking about simply will not go on your truck with out spending more money than it would cost to buy new tire for your current rims.

Buy used tires on craiglist.

Swap tires, sell leftover rims.

his original rims are 17 inch, the new rims came off a newer truck and are 20 inch 6 bolt... sell them or trade for a nice 5 bolt set with good tires.

Craigslist is the answer to all. I got both our vehicles, my Harley, and tons of other great trades on there.
