Truck Won't Start, Turns Over, Bad Fuel Pump? Air?

No oil pressure cranking...sometimes it can take a bit for the needle to register cranking however there are a couple of things it can be. LPOP could have taken a dump, STC fitting at the HPOP (if your year model applies--I don't remember), oil filter failure, IPR valve failure.
With AE you need to monitor IPR duty cycle/% cranking, ICP pressure and/or voltage--500 psi min or .85 V min. FICM voltage (again). If you find that your IPR is very high--85% is max-- or your ICP is very low you likely have a HPO leak or your IPR valve might be trashed.

WHile cranking..
FICM 48.5
IPR 50%
ICP 1500psi
I am not sure where to monitor the IPR duty cycle.

the fuel system bleeds itself after you change filters or whatever you just need to cycle the key to KOEO a few times before you start and its good
how was the FICM votage
and FICM sync
did you also check CAM/CRANK sync
aso check the fan wire harness at the fan shroud it chaffes sometime and will cause a no start
any codes

I had to fix up the wires running to the TURBO, and two other sensors that sit near the EGR, rats damaged those AIT sensor i believe. When I had the air system upart uptop I checked for more damage, couldn't see much unless they got in there again and just munched hard.
The truck was running fine, then when she went to leave 8 hours later it just didnt start. This is at a barn btw.

fuel pump sounds from my truck.
to me it sounds like there is air in the system... but i do not have a trained ear

have you watched the upper fuel bowel fill it should be fast with no air bubbles have someone ccylcle the key while you watch
and better yet put a fuel pres gauge on it you want better than 45 psi WOT
dont worrey about IPR duty cycle you cant really monitor that untill it runs you just need to make at least 500psi witch you are so thats ok
how about cam/crk sync
and FICM sync
do all injectors have a good buzz when you cycle the KOEO

im not at the house right now, but I did up that video above with sound, see if anyone can hear anything my untrained ear sucks.
the how about cam/crk sync shows bits and it reads 0. while cranking.
I guess I will need to pickup a gauge that fits on there? I am not sure what I am looking for in regards to a gauge that is compatible

I couldnt tell anything off the vidio clip
Are you using an AE to check things with??
I use SGII and I read for cam/crk sync 1=sync 0=no sync
and the same for FICM sync 1=sync 0= no sync
thats SGII I dont know about AE but think it would be the same
maybe someone with an AE will chime in
They need to be in sync for injector timing
and you will need the special adapter to test fuel press not shure the size If I come across it I will post back

Truck Won't Start, Turns Over, Bad Fuel Pump? Air?
Turn over, cranks fine, but won't even try to start, I can hear the fuel pump going sounds like there might be air in the system, doesn't sound normal that's for sure.
Just over 1/4 tank in the truck right now.
I bled some fuel out of the pump under the driver door by backing off the allan key plug, it came out of there fine. I understand there is a 2 stage filter system.
Let the system charge up again, nothing, just cranking.
How do I bleed off the upper fuel system, or check for air?

My 2003 6.0L gets out of the shop tomorrow and got me stranded 5 hrs in the middle of nowhere, a 2 am return home, a APPROX $2500 TO $3000 bill and it cost me being able to go on a New Orleans trip I won!
It sounds like my issue... I started it after stopping to buy something and pulled out onto the road. It coughed once, the gauges went dead and I was lucky to get it to the side of the road. Would turn over, but not start. I just had the oil and filters changed. I've already replaced the HPOP....
I'm being told an O-ring in the engine oil system gave out and if the oil pressure isn't there the injector system will not deliver fuel.

what brand oil filter did yyou use after market ones dont always work
His ICP IS 1500 psi cranking more than enough pressure to fire the injectors with HPO

The buzz sound, is electrical or fuel being squeezed into a tightspot?

try to check both of these with someone cycling the key
the 0 on Cam/Crk sync is what bothers me
