So the question is;

Is it one of these?

F-body ? 1976 - 1980 Volare, Aspen, Roadrunner R/T
J-body ? 1980 - 1983 Cordoba, Mirada, Imperial
M-body ? generally 1977 ? 1989, see below
Caravelle (Canadian Plymouth model) 1977-1981
Lebaron 1977 - 1981
New Yorker 1982
New Yorker 5th Ave 1983 ? 1987
5th Ave. 1988 ? 1989
Diplomat 1977 ? 1989
Town & Country ? 1977 - 1981
Gran Fury 1982 ? 1989

Can't help you. Don't even know what model is in your picture.

You might try taking that picture to one of the big Mopar sites and getting somone there to ID it for you. ..

Most cars had the year embossed on the taillights in small print...

Sorry, can't help.

You might also get the VIN off of it and post on a mopar site. The VIN will identify the year.

Gary,

If you end up getting the suspension off this thing, try to get;

Master cylinder and booster
proportioning valve
brake pedal assembly
wheels (to roll your project around on for the next few years. The wheels will
also fit a Ford 9" with 5 X 4.5 bolt pattern)
maybe even the steering column (this one isn't too important though)

Regards,

4tl8, you win the prize. It is a FWD indeed. The same car sits in my neighbors drive and I work on it at times. Sane color even. Good call man.
Gary E, buy it, put it in and let us follow along. You could be the next hero. Just kiddin'

I don't see anything on that list that would not have the 5x4.5 pattern. It should be a very easy pattern to find since both Ford and Chrysler used it.
