Where does the Distributor Vacuum Line connect?

I have it connected to the vacuum assembly below the distributor, but it is not connected on the other end. Any ideas?

AFAIK, all distributor vacuum should be from a ported vacuum source. A ported source is a place where you have little or no vacuum at idle and full vacuum at speed. The location of this vacuum source will vary according to what carburetor you run. Hope this helps...

It would be a big help if you told us which engine, carb and distributor setup you are working on.

It is a Flathead V8, 239 engine. Not sure about the Carb or Distributor set up.

Thanks,

Bob
