the cab is back on the frame
Well like the title said. After being off the frame for 3 years, week before I posted that I finished the metal work to the bottom of the cab.saturday I pulled the frame out of the barn and power washed it. I raised the cab up and set it down on the frame. Now I need to get a steering column and finish the Toyota power steering conversion. next I will finish the under cab power brake set up, run the brake lines and paint the nine inch rear end. The rest of the frame I went thru about four years ago and redone all the springs, bushings and added the disc brake conversion on the front, I still have the cab corners to do before the cab is done. Man, I got a lot of work to do, but it has come a long way to this point.

Hey Tracy ???
that first pic ??? is that one of those aftermarket CAT-BACK systems I've heard about ???
truck is looking good... I'm just getting back to being serious with mine. Seems like everything you do get done shows you 5 more things you need to get done next... had mine since '95 so I got a few years of procrastination on you... keep chippin away at it... this heat is slowing us all down.

Hey Tracy,
Congratulations on getting your cab back on there - We are right behind you with our 1950 F1. My son is back from college for 2 weeks & we hope to get our's back on the frame as well. We had a lot of help with the cab corners - unfortunately that's a tricky curved piece with no great replacement parts available. We tried LMC for the cab corners but the curve wasn't even close to being right. We ended up getting some made by a Forum member in Connecticut that we were much better. Good luck over there.

the cat's name is lindy, if i am under the truck he will lay close and watch. if i am under the hood or inside the cab or what ever i am doing he is right there watching. i liked the cat back comment. or should it be said get back cat. your truck is looking good. i am waiting on reamer to get back to me about the cab corners too.i am looking at a steering column now at mid fifty f-100 made by classic. need to find out more on them before i buy. thanks for all the comments, makes a person fill good at what he has got done. even at a snails pace.
