hey guys i have a 2005 f250 crew cab, i installed the roof cab lights today which came out great... i just need help finding which wire i can tap into for the running lights... i dont want a separate switch for these, want them to run when i turn my headlights on, anyone have a wiring diagram or know which wire it would be? thanks!

 

they should just plug into the harness on the passenger side of a 2005.

 

If you didn't buy the Ford harness, and ran your own wire, then you want to splice into the brown wire which you will find behind the passenger side kick panel. If you did buy the Ford harness, you will find the plug already exists behind that same kick panel. However, if you have a sunroof or overhead console, you might find that plug is already populated, because with the correct harness those all plug into that same connector.

That brown wire and a ground is the bottom line.
