Need a new Muffler? Any recommendations?

I just noticed that my 2000 F350 V10 needs a new muffler. I am looking for some ideas of what to replace the original one with. Everything on the truck is stock, but would not mind a little "stronger" sound from the ole girl. I look forward to your advice. I am not looking to spend a lot of money on this project, but figured since I have to replace it anyway now would be the time to kick it up a notch! Thanks

the cheapest would be to get a take off from another truck where the seller had installed an aftermarket system. Those are given away for almost nothing.

The Flowmaster 70 big block 2 and 50 big block mufflers sound good and work well on the V10s. It is a little louder than stock and does a good job of getting rid of drone.

5.4L is a whole different animal than the V10. Stick with a BB70, BB50, or SUV50 and I think you'll be happy.

Here's a link to my dual tailpipe/SUV50 install:

Hope this helps,
