Another item for the garage

Found these on E-bay. Since I don't really want to scratch my fenders anyonre than they already are, I picked up a couple.

I have 2 of them and never used them. They don't hang down in the engine compartment like in the old trucks and they don't tend to stay in place. I do have the same bench as you to climb on at the front. I have a hard time doing anything from the fender sides of the truck. I have to climb on top of the engine when I want to do something.

Rick, Yeah I don't do to much from the side of the truck. It was more for the work light cord or an air hose that would rub on the fender. Also to protect the corners of the fenders, already have a big scratch in my new RH fender.

Jeez Guys, all it takes is some type of clip to hold the pad in place.

A couple of examples:

A binder clip and a tarp edge clamp.

Yes I noticed it was bent the other day. The next time I looked it I noticed it was broke. Just add it to the list to fix. Lol

Hey Robin. I can't do that to my truck, the hood shock is in the way. Did you take the shock off to put the pad like that?

No I didn't. It's not really in the way if you are only attaching the edge of the pad.
