There is a possible IT position opening up but not till first or second week of Sept. I have spoken with the service manager there and once he gets the green light to find someone he told me I am going to be his first call and probable his last call.
I am going on a trip/mini vaca Aug 19-24 (already booked and paid for minus gas and food) and that kinda puts the damper on finding some weekly work for the mean time. Not sure what unemployment can do. Maybe I should call them.
Jim. Looked briefly into being a driver ed teacher and from the first looks it will be almost $3gran for the 2 classes I need before doing the state stuff.

Your employer has...by law...paid into the system...you deserve it!!! Sometimes unemployment will help pay for retraining...check it out. Might help you with the 3 gee whizzers.

Ya Ken I made an appearance yesterday...the seats are in the vehicle, i had about a day of scrubbing them, and 3 days of drying, I pulled the seat covers, scrubbed em on the deck, and hosed the schmutz out of them. in wicked good shape though. I paid 250 for the set plus the console, although i'd have loved to have a center seat. They came out of a 93 lightning that was cash for clunkered. At least the junkyard had the good sense to strip the good parts off it, they said the frame was rotted bad, still sad though.
I moved (well actually bought a house) 1 town closer to the peoples republik of mazzachuzettz....
Salem, NH, just down the street from the Tuscan Chicken...errr i mean Tuscan Kitchen.
Now I have a nice paved driveway to play with my truck.
