P1728 P1744 and limp mode

Yesterday I was getting on the interstate and mashed to the floor and about halfway up the on ramp the azz in front slams on his breaks for no reason so I let out of the skinny pedal and hit
Y breaks right as in was going in-between 2-3 shift and my OD light started and went into limp and got codes p1728 & p1744 I cleared them and have put 80 miles on sence and it has not come back should I have looked at or not worry about it

Better get that trans built up like you want to pretty soon mike, I'm no expert by any means but with those two codes coming up I bet not much more hotrodding is in your future without trans issues.

"P1728 Transmission Slip Error"
"P1744 Torque Converter Clutch System Performance"

That's not good.

It only has 75k on it and has been service every 12k. I been running the crap out of it all day on no codes. When I let out of it in between shifts yesterday it made a nasty shift and then the OD started to blink it been shifting fine all day no difference. I dunno I gonna run it to it pops

To be honest, I would just run it until the problem repeated, which would hopefully be never. If it ever repeated, then I would go from there.

Must have been that hole the Prius fell into that you hit! Seriously, I would guess its the timing of events that you described caused it.

I keep hearing about the TPS but never had to mess with it yet.
