I think Cody usually pulls in 3rd or 4th. I don't know if the ridiculous amount of power he's putting down would affect what gear is ideal to pull with, though.

It's entirely possible that I am mistaken. I just like to read through his threads and watch video from his events. That's what I thought I saw, but don't take that as expert advice unless you hear it straight from him. Good luck in your event.

Saw a 97 and a 96 last weekend at the pulls. Both lifted, both running 35's. Came in 2nd and 3rd (Go Powerstroke!) So i dont think 37s would hurt all that much. Did you get your tires from TWF?

Joseph, you were right. Cody was running in 3rd and 4th. I don't recall which gear he finally stuck with. Also, he's NOWHERE near stock, so If he's running in 4th, you could try 3rd. And yes, that's in low range. Also, I believe he's got stock, or nearly stock size tires and I don't remember what rear end ratio he's running either.

Don't do what I saw a Dodge do at the county fair last week. He dumped the clutch, started hopping and killed the motor. Sled kept moving and hit him in the hitch. Not sure how much damage he did but the crowd gave him heck!!

What kind of clutch are you running? Id do third low. If you have a dual disc I might try forth of you can keep the rpm up
