keep seeing all these posts of dirt cheap paint jobs and it makes me want to do mine! lol

Yea I know it looks like chocolate pudding. I really wanted it darker but oh well it turned out pretty good.

 

Ya had to go and say it didn't ya. Now I'm hungry for chocolate puddn'.....

I say for the time, effort and cost involved, it turned out great.

And, if it makes him happy, that's even better.

 

It turned out great and should last years!! Clear coat tends not to work well over alkyd enamel paint it tends to fail so just leave it as is and it will last a while. I painted my truck with the same stuff and did 6 coats then wet sanded and machine polished with 3M then waxed with tech wax and it looks pretty good from 10 feet.
