1961/66 4 spoke steering wheel horn button.

Hey Bill question for you. Is this just for the horn button minus this assembly



Or is it the button with that part too. Also is that bottom assembly if separte from the button itself the same one for this horn button?



I have that chrome horn button for the 4 spoke wheel but its missing the sub assembly to snap it onto the steering wheel.

First pic: Horn button / Second pic: Horn ring.

The 4 spoke horn button (C1TZ-13A805-D) was sold as a complete assembly, no individual parts for it were available.

Thanks for that info on the horn button. I am guessing then that the horn ring was the same deal no individual parts.

Not the case with this horn ring or any other horn ring or button. Only the 4 spoke steering wheel horn button was sold as a one piece assembly.

The plastic retainer (C2DZ-13A809-A) used with the 3 spoke steering wheel horn button/ring was available by itself, as...

Was the "horn blowing ring pressure pad" (aka rubber cushion~CODF-13A813-A) that is hidden underneath the plate that the plastic retainer threads to.

The various springs did not come with the horn ring/button, sold separately.

Little known factoid: The 3 spoke wheel's horn ring rubber cushion flattens out, rots and/or disintegrates and...when this occurs, the horn blows constantly.

1965 F-250 horn contact button assembly

Hi guys, I just came across this discussion about the horn ring contact button assembly. covers my area of interest. I have a 1965 F-250. Years ago I took the horn ring off by pushing down and quarter turn to the left and comes right off. my current problem is now I have new spring, contact brushes ect. but may be missing a part?? Does anyone have a pic of diagram of the assembly from horn ring down to the the horn contact buttons? Or can anyone take a pic for me and post to show the assembly or where can I go to see an illustration? with the parts I have ordered, makes no sense in trying to reinstall them. seems like something is missing?? Would really appreciate any help on this. frustrating! Thanks

T/S switches quantities have changed since I typed this post 7/16/2011 / NOS Parts Ltd in Waxahachie TX purchased all of JST Automotive's obsolete Ford parts.

1961/70 F100/350 with 3 spoke steering wheel: C2DZ-13A809-A .. Horn Button or Horn Ring nylon retainer ~ Same: 1960/64 Falcon/Comet - 1962/64 Fairlane - 1963/64 Galaxie - 1965 Mustang w/a generator.
