As far as I know some can be added easily after market, like the cab lights. The rapid heater would take more effort and costs. The hd alternator depends if it has two on it already as the belt would be different. The kr's I looked at all had hd alt and rapid heat. The cab lights seem to be the one option I wanted but couldn't find unless I ordered the truck myself. I will add them at a later time most likely with a flashing option. I am sure others with more knowledge will chime in soon. Good luck.

Someone looked into adding rapid heat and posted here some time ago. As I remember it was a major project and very expensive.

cab lights, upfitter switches, and homelink are some of the cheaper options to add after it's built. rapid heat would be expensive.

Check behind the coin holder plate (if you don't have upfitters thats what they put there, as far as I know). There should be a plug back behind the dash that hooks up to the upfitter panel - square type plug with 8 pins. Also check under the steering wheel. There should be a bundle of wires tied up to the wiring harness that goes through the fire wall.

As far as I know the wiring is all in place, just the switches are either there or not.
