Anyone know what this does differently? Does it need a corresponding flash to get use out of it?

 

Just replaced mine. The snow plow clutch is noticeably bigger and sturdier than the regular one. (and the additional cost is not substantial maybe 20 bucks on RockAuto.com)

Did the same replacement. The truck had to go into the dealer for some minor stuff and I asked the tech to command the fan just to make sure everything was right. It was. Towing 10k lbs up an 15 mile 8% grade fan worked like a charm.

 

Just wondering what it does. I'm putting a plow on my truck winter. I'm trying to decide if I need one.

 

Just wondering does out move more air? Or it partially locked in ask the time.
