Brake lights keep blowing the fuse
I bumped into my trailer last night when trying to hooked up to it, it hit the connectors. I hooked it up and noticed the brake lights not working. I replaced the fuse and then they worked, figured i shorted it out when connecting the trailer electric. about 3 miles later my turn signal was not working, and i noticed the brake lights were not working. I disconnected the trailer and put a new fuse in again and it just blew again.
I checked the trailer connection plugs on the truck and they look fine, could I have damaged one of them internally? I have both, the flat type and the type for a trailer with brakes.
Can I ohm out the connectors? If so how? Which ones should ohm out (beep) and which ones should not?

Thanks Barry.
I tested the plug and the white plug showed closed with the green plug on both the round plug and flat plug. I went to pep boys to buy a new one but they only ones they had needed to be spliced and wired in so before buying that I took mine off the truck to see if I could find the short.
I did, it was clear that when the trailer hit it, it crushed the white ground wire and the green wire against the frame around the spare tire. Re wired them, taped it up good, put it back and tested it, all good now!
Thank you!
