Pivot bushing swap

Pivot bushing swap
I have a 1996 F150 that needs the pivot bushings swapped. I already have polyurethane ones ordered.
Can they be swapped with just dropping the pivot end of the control arm down? Or do I need to pull the caliper and spring to drop the whole arm?
Are there any good write-ups or videos on how to proceed? There are only a couple of YouTube videos that I've been able to find. Watched them all. Lol.

You should plan to remove the springs for this job. Caliper and shock absorber will need to be disconnected. It's pretty easy to do. Otherwise you will be fighting them to reinstall the I-beams.
You might find that you need to disconnect disconnect the radius arms from the frame mount also. A metal drift would be helpful for lining up the pivot bushing and bolt holes in the cross member.
