hi guys i just bought a 1959 4 wheel drive short bed ford pick up that has a 292 y block with manual trans ..i would like like to install a 427 ford big block with auto trans and tranfer case.does anybody have any suggestions on where i can get engine mounts or transmissions and transfer cases that will bolt to the ford big block. i would even consider using a 351w if that would be alot easier..thx guys in advance

 

Just my $.02.... Stay with the 292 or a 312 if you aren't worried about mega-big horsepower. "Y" Blocks are ultra-cool and well appreciated by other Ford Truck Enthusiasts.
