just wondering if someone can tell me what the last idiot light on the left is ? that is the idiot lights abouve the gage clusters, mine is broken out but notice at night that the bulb is on behind where it is broken out.

The indicator light at the top left of the dash comes on every ~60,000 miles to remind you to service the emissions control system. The light merely says EMISSIONS.

This is NOT a Check Engine light! The first time a computer-connected Check Engine light was used in these trucks was 1988.

You have one of three possible boxes that serve as a timer to control when that light comes on, and it can be reset with a paper clip. I forget the procedure but I think it's in this thread here:
