degas bottle

seems to me if you had a silicate problem it would show up in the degas bottle right? we have 2-03s and 1-04 e 250s at work all with gas engines all with clogged or partally clogged radiators and all have collant buildup in the degas bottles some so bad you cant see in them any more.

What coolant is being used?

.... and do you have a question? Can't tell from the post.

A number of peoplw have had the oil cooler plug up (acts like a filter) without much (maybe none) evidence in the degas bottle. The oil cooler passageways are small.
