Paint removal?

Hey guys! Im actually ovr in the 73-79 section but im not getting the answer im looking for. I have a 74 Highboy and it has two layers of paint. There are many rust bubbles and the paint is cracking all over. I need to get the paint stripped on the body and door jams. The interior looks 99.9% brand new still.

I dont want to sand blast. I thought about sanding but can u get down to the bear metal that way? And isnt there lead in the paint so you could possibly get lead poisoning?

I also need to remove surface rust from under the bed and remove this cheep bed liner (spray in type)...

Any help would be great!

Can't remember where I bought the stuff but it's called DeKote. It worked awesome for me. As for the rust I think por15 makes a rust converter product, and Iv'e had nothing but good experiences with their stuff.

try aircraft stripper available at autozone etc , get the gallon brush on . the aersol suxz.
wear eye protection ,thick rubber gloves, and don't get any on you !
oh you will need a natual hair brush to apply .
brush it on and let sit paint should bubble wait like 15 minutes then scrap with plastic putty knife to remove paint . oh i put flattened cardboard boxes on the ground to catch the stripper/paint . make sure you use it a well ventalated area it's knarley stuff .
