$1000 To Spend On Your Truck. What Do You get?

If you just found out you won a $1000 shopping spree to your favorite aftermarket parts store. What would you get for your truck?

Catch up on maintenance. My coolant needs changing, want to replace my rotors, pads are fine. Hubs need servicing.. If all that was done then I would put it into regearing my truck, perhaps some new injectors..

I know $1000 would stretch far enough, but I'd go for e-lockers front and rear!

I would get a php phoenix chip, a diy 6637 intake from Riffraff and use the remaining $450 or so to replace my head unit and front speakers and wires.

a little less than 250 gallons of fuel. Or maybe a little more, if I could buy it wholesale.

INTAKE, CHIP, EXHAUST.

squeeze MPG's if you have $1000 to burn on something other than fuel.

Or like trey (i think) said, re-gear it for mileage if you're not pulling something heavy.

But yeah, for slightly more than $1000 you can get intake, chip, and exhaust, gauges will put you slightly over $1000 but trust me bro, it's well worth it!

chips in the paint will always appear, body work is a black hole. you'll spend $1000 on fixing up the body to find a new ding next time you walk out of the supermarker and be 100x as pissed about it.

I personally go for longievity out of my engine. Sustainability isn't just about "going green" it's also about not having to trash something sooner. if running biodiesel saves 100 trees thats great, but if you truck dies 1 year sooner because of it those 100 tree's just fell down. (because you have to buy a new truck which increases demand, which increases production, which increases the carbon footprint the ford factorys are making.)

I dont want to preach too much, i think you should get the picture. put the $1000 into making your truck happy. help her breathe and give her a chip that tells her she's doesn't always have to act as if she is pulling a large trailer. and get some gauges to make sure she understands what your trying to do for her

just take it easy on your trans if you go this route.....

i was assuming you have a diesel as well....if I had a F150 i would put that $1000 into parts that would increase the value of my truck so i could sell it and get a 99.5-03 7.3L

well, if i had 3k to spend, it would be a gearvendors overdrive unit, but for only 1k, a new radiator and have a couple hundred left over new speakers or whatever, maybe fix the sliding door track one of these days too

If I had an extra $1000 to spend, I'd get a new aftermarket grille, & a tonneau cover, that should just about use up the whole $1000. The only down side to the grille would be no one could tell that you were driving a 2011 truck, LOL
