And, my guess would be, Bishop on the East side?

We kinda decided North/South in the original SoCal thread, but there wasn't a formal vote and approval on the definition.

Close Tim,

About 5 miles north of the Saline Valley and Hunter Mtn intersection looking north into the Saline valley. 2nd Picture looking NE on Lippencott Rd, 3rd picture at the primitive campsite near Lippencott mine.

No, but a good guess. That's a cool building too, but not as old as this one. And that would be So Cal.

Farther north.

Correct.

Great place to sit and enjoy your Jolly Cone, which can be purchased just a few short blocks away.

A short drive away, is this place. Both a natural and manmade wonder.

Travertine it is.

When we got there, a family with kids were playing around in the tubs. Carol and I were just walking around checking out all the Travertine formations, and how the hot water flow channels were designed. In a few minutes the family and kids left, and the clothing started coming off. I didn't even notice until I got back and checked the pics, but in the 3rd shot above you can see a lady dropping her first layer. Her hubby followed soon, and then a group of 3 young women. That was the end of our visit.

If anyone noticed the camera, it didn't seem to matter. I didn't see any nudity worth wasting a digital photograph.

Based on the clues, I would say Weed CA. Except I think Weed is north of the SJV.
