truck pulls to right when braked
i thought it was a caliped stickin/hanging up. i had my left replaced for doing the same thing. i do use it off-road a lot and pretty hard. just thought i knocked the allignment out or something. kinda scared me when the wheel and truck outta nowhere just pulled to the right, almost hit a parked car. thanx a lot.

If the caliper is OK, check the steering. Make sure the tie rods and any bushings don't have a lot of slop in them. I had a worn out bushing that would cause a pull to one side when breaking because it allowed the one wheel to turn when under a braking load. Jack up the front end and do the tire push/pull test.

I just replaced the hoses/calipers on my 1993 F-150. It made a world of difference. Mine used to pull harshly to the left upon braking, but new calipers and hoses solved that problem for less than $40.
I still have a slight pull to the left however, the ball joints don't appear to be my problem. I suspect the tie rod end, the left one is covered in grease.
