Mysterious connector identification

No real reason why I need to know, just curious. Does anyone know what the 2 wire connector that is attached to the white radiator bracket behind the drivers headlight is for? The wires come up from underneath and terminate at the plug which faces upwards.

The Lariats have the overhead console with information for ambient temperature. The temp sensor uses that plug harness.

Probably. Make sure you get the console harness as well. While you are at it....try and get a harness from a drw truck and you'll automatically get the clearance light wiring as well. The clearance light and overhead console share the same connector behind the passenger side kick panel (next to the fuel inertia switch).

If you are going that far....grab the clearance lights as well. Take some butcher paper to make a rubbing of the holes left after the lights are removed. You can then use that as a template to add lights to your cab if you want.

If you already have lights...then you need to make sure the donor console came from a truck with cab lights as well or you will be splicing into one of the harnesses to make things work.

I dont really plan on getting an overhead console, but I do want marker lights eventually.
