Truck stalls when it Idols
Hey Im trying to figure out why my truck stalls only when it idols. I think its a bad spark plug but i also know my fuel pump is slowly going to hell.
I hate to sound stupid but I'm fairly new at this, can a bad spark plug cause the engin to die when it idols?
I also think combustion is getting to the radiator. So I'm worried I might have a cracked head or a bad head gasket.
I run a 351w small block in a 1988 F-250. Automatic, not manule...unfortunatly.
Any answers or advice?

Found the issue, the connector for the plug and wire that runs to the distributor cap wasnt hooked up right, simple fix. However that was not the only problem, a leak in the Trottle Body Gasket was causing the truck to struggle at an idle. Shortly after, the engine would stall out complety.
the guy that had this truck before me obviously cut some corners during his tune up, he also didnt hook up the hose that runs form the air-filter to the engine. so all in all, i simply need a new TB Gasket, fuel pump, and hose line (hose is getting old and cracking).
I originally feared a new engine was needed. but this beast can be fixed for under $100.
Other tests and diagnostics are still to be done just to be sure.
Ill keep my fingers crossed that i dont run into another problem.
(I wonder if gorilla tape would stop that leak and hold.)
