Are there O-rings in what Ford calls "Radiator Coolant hose Retainer clip" where the two lower radiator hoses connect to each other below the radiator? It seems there would have to be. I have a very small coolant leak there. Not much, just basically staying damp. I'm not worrying about it that much unless it gets worse. I see that one of the latest TSB's is covering the o-rings under warranty and if there are o-rings in the retainer clip I could get them replaced under warranty.

Thanks

o-rings

Yes where the lower hose splits there is a o-ring the same as the all the others The Ford short # is RTS-1077 The only difference with the old hoses and the new is where the upper radiator hose connects to the thermostat and where the lower radiator hose connects to the water pump inlet those connections are white, those white connections have two o rings in them AND are the newest updated models. Not only do those keep coolant from leaking out but just as important keep air from being sucked in. Though the lower rad hose is two piece when you get the updated lower hose you only need the part that connects to the water pump. Good Luck

Rik, Thanks for the reply. I will carry it in and it should be covered under the warranty.

was changing my oil today and found that mine is leaking from where the lower hose connects to the water pump also. Mine will be covered though I think under my extended warranty. 59,200 miles.
