is there a way to make this thing engage in 2wd. i was wondering if the pull switch in kinda like the fog like switch. if its just plastic that wont let you pull the switch out, but if you were to trim the plastic you could. does anyone know if this would possibly work???
thanks everyone in advance

I doubt it is that simple unfortunately. Keep in mind that the locker disengages at certain speeds so the computer is definetly in control. I would think you would need to either modify the switch and buy a tuner that would allow full user control or cut some wires and run your own switch and leave the computer out of it.

I can't wait till i get my 09 off road and show up the Jeeps with my rear locker!
The guys that own the Jeeps think they are kings of the hill, wait till they see my 09 F150 in action!
Will have pictures soon!

You show 'em buddy. You should show them how well an 09 F-150 jumps! I heard of a guy jumping his 35' and he got about 12' up in the air. He got going 95 miles an hour and wooooosh...Off the ramp. I hear he didn't feel a thing when he landed. The jeepers were all really envious of him and called him a "really cool guy" afterward. and then they all wanted to hang out with him so they looked cool too. Do you need any help designing a ramp, or do you have that under control?

Your Friend,

you have to get the raptor switch and 4x4 control module. you can buy both online for about 150. it just plugs in. then you can lock the rear in 2 wheel and the locker wont disengage till 50mph just like the raptor.

This was posted 3 years ago. I've done upgraded to a 2012 and I can engage this one in 2wd. I owned my 09 for 3 years and the locker operation only in 4 was never a problem
