Finally!!! After 3 months she runs!!! video updated.

Hey guys after 3 busy month I finally will hopefully have the beast running again. I pulled the motor to replace the front cover which was cracked on the oil cooler water jacket.

Well I get the motor pulled right after starting my new job. Well then I got married and bought a house so in between all that I got the motor ready to go in. Put in last weekend but had stuff come up to do so I couldn't finish. Today It is all bolted up and ready start back for the first time. Had to go get hay up before the rain so hopefully get the oil in it and replace the slave cylinder that some how broke. And she will hopefully live again.

While it was out it got
140cc AD Superduty Injectors
17* HPOP
SD Front cover and oil pan
3'' plenums so its ready for the intercooler
The intercooler will be another days project
Gearhead Tunes

So hopefully I get to post a video tommorow of her running.

Just wanted to express my joy!

Now I have a question. Does any one have a picture or diagram of where the clutch fork sits in relation to the throw out bearing and clutch?

Thanks guys.

The fork slides onto the back side of the throwout bearing. The back side of it is plastic and has 2 flat spots on opposite sides of each other. The fork slides onto those flat areas and just rides there. The only thing really holding it in there is the clips that hold it onto the pivot ball on the bellhousing. Weird explanation, I know. haha

That makes some since. I think it got messed up some how when the motor went in. We had a time getting the input to line up. How hard is it to bleed the Slave.

I've never had a problem bleeding slaves in our trucks. Which slave did you get Jeffrey? The one with the bleeder screw or without?

It doesn't have a bleeder. Hopeing the clutch and all is in right. I got the slave in any tips to getting the air out? Leave the cap off?

It runs though. Now I gotta get water in it and the accessories

She lives and drives. Few things to tidy up and she's good.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CkOWD...e_gdata_player

Here's a video at idle. No accessories on the front or water. So it didn't run long. Drove it down the road.

Need to put the hood and a few odds and ends and she'll be full time road worthy again. Will say the extreme tune pulled very hard for the little I drove it.

The clutch gravity bleed its self very well. The pedal is alot stiffer and engages smoother. Ill get a couple good videos this week.

Wife to the video just to be I didn't know it. It got up and went pretty good. Need to hook the boost and pyro back up tommorow. I'm definantly going to need a t500 in my near future though.

Sorry about the audio.
