Carrier Bearing removal from Drive Shaft.
Ok. Its a 2006 and everything is out of the truck and out on the ground. Now how do i get this thing off the splined shaft?
Any help is appreciated.

Take a punch and alternate sides and give it a few raps with a hammer try to hit the inner race of it.

if you have issue take the shaft and the new bearing to your local machine shop or drive shaft balancer. its far cheeper then a new one.

You wouldn't think it'd be that tight on the shaft.spray it with some aero kroil or some other good penatrating lube.

Went ahead and had a shop press it off and the on. Joint Clutch and Gear did a great job here in Little Rock, Ar. Vibration is gone and the vibration on takeoff is also gone.
